What are the main nodes for replacing lubricants?

1Usually, most of the wide family of days require that the lubricant should be checked or replaced once every 3,000 hours of operation. If it is the first time to run, then 2500 hours is recommended to replace the lubricating oil and oil filter once. Because the residue of the system assembly and after the formal operation will be accumulated in the compressor, so 2500 hours, should be replaced once the lubricating oil, after that according to the cleanliness of the system state to be replaced regularly can be. If the lubricating oil in the system is clean, the running time can be extended appropriately.

2. If the discharge temperature of the refrigeration compressor is maintained at a high temperature and pressure for a long time, the deterioration of the lubricant will be significantly accelerated and the chemical properties of the lubricant must be checked regularly (generally two months). If it is not qualified, it should be replaced in time.

3, the acidification of the lubricant will directly affect the life of the motor of the refrigeration compressor, so the acidity of the lubricant must be checked regularly to see if it is qualified, if the acidity of the lubricant is lower than PH6 it must be replaced immediately. If the acidity of the lubricant cannot be checked then the filter cartridge of the filter drier must be replaced regularly, otherwise the motor will be easily damaged.

4. The procedure for replacing the lubricant varies slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, so the manufacturer must be consulted after the lubricant has been replaced. Especially if there is a precedent of the motor being burnt, the condition of the lubricant should be tracked every month after the motor has been replaced. Alternatively, change the oil regularly until the system is clean, otherwise any acidic residues in the system will damage the insulation of the motor.

Note: The grade of oil used in compressors varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it is important to pay attention to the grade and quantity of oil stated on the compressor nameplate when changing the oil.

Special note: Different types of lubricants contain different components such as anti-rust, anti-oxidation, anti-foam and anti-corrosion, so do not mix different types and brands of lubricants to avoid chemical reactions that could cause the lubricant to fail and lead to compressor failure.
